Graham Hershman
Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Graham Hershman is responsible for the overall operation of Portfolio Hotels & Resorts and its managed properties. Hershman ensures that each hotel operates within standards and policies of the company while maintaining a focus on bottom-line profitability for owners. He also oversees all financial reporting, budgeting and planning, operating controls and cash management. Additionally, Mr. Hershman assists in the development of financial performance, financing and project evaluations for new hotel investment and management opportunities.
Graham Hershman co-founded Coastal Hotel Group with Helmut Horn in 1987, and together the two built the management company to over 25 properties at its peak. He began his professional career with Arthur Anderson, and then held the position of Corporate Controller for Hyatt International Corporation for properties in Asia, Middle East and Europe. He is a graduate of Purdue University, with a degree in Economics and has an MBA in Finance from Loyola University.
